WYSO will open the doors to a new location today in Dayton.

Yellow Springs serves as WYSO’s main hub, but today will see the radio station open a new satellite studio at the Dayton Arcade.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. this morning.

The new studio is 500-square feet and boasts state of the art recording and production capabilities.

With the new space, WYSO is hoping to increase the station’s overall visibility and its community engagement efforts while also providing a convenient space for staff to work.

The new station will focus on producing music and stories that build and enrich the community.
